About Steakhouse
As the largest lending vault curator across EVM ecosystems, Steakhouse brings a wealth of hands-on DeFi risk management experience to Kamino. Initially established as core contributors to the Sky (f.k.a. MakerDAO) ecosystem, Steakhouse has gone on to become the premier DeFi advisory firm working with some of the largest protocols, including Lido, Morpho, Ethena, ENS, Arbitrum, and more.
Steakhouse has deep expertise in credit underwriting, as well as RWA structuring & advisory, having made invaluable contributions to the growth of the RWA ecosystem at Sky, including spearheading the initiative to underwrite and purchase over $1bn of Tokenized RWAs.
Kamino Lend V2
As part of Kamino’s upcoming V2 launch, Steakhouse will debut their first Solana-based lending vault, USDC Prime. This will sit at the heart of the Kamino’s V2 Lending Vault line-up, serving as the flagship USDC vault, deploying funds to optimize yields across Kamino’s most liquid markets.
Kicking off with two stablecoin vaults: USDC Prime, and a USDG Lending Vault, Steakhouse will significantly expand their vault offerings over time. Each Steakhouse vault will have a clear mandate and risk profile, with the goal of ensuring a risk/return-optimized strategy.
These vaults will be fully permissionless, enabling anyone to deploy and earn yield. However, as always, protocol resilience and user safety remains absolutely paramount, and Kamino will work closely with Steakhouse to monitor performance and risk across V2 vaults.
RWA Growth
Steakhouse have established themselves as the foremost team driving on-chain RWA growth in DeFi. Moving forward, Kamino and Steakhouse will work together to rapidly scale Kamino’s RWA offerings, and as a result progress the RWA space on Solana at large.
RWAs have become a core focus area at Kamino. The robustness of the Kamino’s codebase, alongside the versatility of Kamino Lend V2, and the onboarding of industry leaders like Steakhouse, will allow for Kamino to become the home of RWAs on Solana.
